Not tick-box engagement, but the kind of work that actually lands, because it comes from someone who’s been part of this community for a long time.
Who I am
I’ve spent fifteen years inside Liverpool’s LGBTQ+ scene as an organiser, advocate, elected representative, and storyteller. I co-founded LCR Pride Foundation, led community partnerships at Sahir House, and served as one of the first openly LGBTQ+ councillors in Ballymena. I know how to open doors, make a case, and bring people in.
Since June 2025 I’ve hosted Proudly Said, an LGBTQ+ video podcast with over two million organic views and over a year’s worth of weekly episodes featuring genuine community conversation. It exists because people trust it, and that comes from fifteen years of showing up.
What I can help with
The best way to understand what I do is to look at some of what I’ve done.
I’ve organised a public vigil for 1,000 people in three days, securing national and international press coverage across BBC, ITV, Sky News, PinkNews and beyond.
I’ve co-ordinated a UK-wide tribute campaign that lit up buildings across five regions and reached three continents.
I’ve co-founded a registered charity from scratch in five months, engaging 100 stakeholder organisations along the way.
And I’ve run a community advocacy campaign that reached over 83,000 people and prompted a formal response from the Leader of Liverpool City Council.
In practice, the work spans community outreach and stakeholder engagement, campaign development and strategic communications, PR and press liaison, broadcast media, event organisation, and strategic advice for organisations who want to reach LGBTQ+ audiences in a way that actually resonates.
